Armenian American Museum Festival to Host Games and Activities for All Ages

Glendale, CA (September 18, 2024) – The Armenian American Museum and Cultural Center of California has announced that the inaugural Armenian American Museum Festival on Sunday, October 6, 2024, will offer a day filled with exciting games, activities, and entertainment for attendees of all ages. The admission-free event will take place outdoors at Glendale Central Library, welcoming the community to join in the festivities as the museum nears completion.

A wide range of exciting games and activities for the entire family will be featured, courtesy of Zebra Entertainment and Events. Guests can try their hand at classic carnival games such as Milk Bottle Knockdown, Wood Ring Toss, and Cornhole, as well as larger-than-life games like Giant Jenga and Giant Connect Four. For those who enjoy tabletop games, stations will be set up for Chess, Scrabble, Battleship, Candyland, and more.

All games and activities are available free of charge.

The Museum Festival will also feature live, on-stage performances throughout the day and will provide a selection of food trucks and vendors offering entrees and desserts from some of the most popular local restaurants.

The highly anticipated cultural and educational center is currently under construction in the museum campus at Glendale Central Park. The first phase of construction, featuring the museum parking garage and building foundation, has been completed. The second phase, featuring the two-level museum building superstructure, is currently underway.

The museum’s mission is to promote understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Armenian American experience. The museum will offer a wide range of public programming through the Permanent Exhibition, Temporary Exhibitions, Auditorium, Learning Center, Demonstration Kitchen, Archives Center, and more.
