PHOTOS: “Armenia: An Open Wound” Exhibition Featuring “Armenian Heritage: A Virtual Pilgrimage” with Tumo Center for Creative Technologies & CyArk

On Thursday, May 19, 2016, internationally renowned Tumo Center for Creative Technologies and leading preservation non-profit CyArk presented “Armenian Heritage: A Virtual Pilgrimage,” a collaborative project to digitally preserve Armenia’s cultural heritage using state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology. The Keynote speakers of the event featured Tumo Board Member Roger Kupelian and CyArk Field Manager Ross Davison. The event was co-hosted by ANCA Professional Network.

The program is part of a series programs taking place in conjunction with “Armenia: An Open Wound,” an exhibition presented by the City of Glendale, CA Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Department in partnership with the Armenian American Museum. The exhibition was curated by the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia in Mexico City. The exhibition will be on view at the Brand Library & Art Center from April 16 to June 11, 2016.
