PHOTOS: “Armenia: An Open Wound” Exhibition Featuring “Journey to Homeland” Documentary Screening

On Friday, May 13, 2016, an exclusive screening of the “Journey to the Homeland” documentary was held at Brand Library & Art Center sharing the story of Film Director Nora Hovsepian’s pilgrimage back to the land her grandparents were forced to flee in 1915. The screening was followed by a discussion with Film Director Nora Hovsepian, Matthew Karanian, and Nora Yacoubian.

The program is part of a series programs taking place in conjunction with “Armenia: An Open Wound,” an exhibition presented by the City of Glendale, CA Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Department in partnership with the Armenian American Museum. The exhibition was curated by the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia in Mexico City. The exhibition will be on view at the Brand Library & Art Center from April 16 to June 11, 2016.
