Glendale, CA (October 2, 2024) – The Armenian American Museum and Cultural Center of California is pleased to announce more than 2,000 guests have registered for the inaugural Armenian American Museum Festival, scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2024. This admission-free event will take place outdoors at Glendale Central Library from 1:00PM to 6:00PM, offering vibrant entertainment, delicious food, and engaging family-friendly activities as the museum approaches the final stages of construction.

Festival guests will enjoy an impressive lineup of artists, including performers Tigran Asatryan, Maxim Panossian, Hovhannes Shahbazyan, Joseph Krikorian, Mister X, Eva Kans, and Darren Chillin who will bring their signature energy and popular hits to the stage. DJ Alex, DJ Haibert, and DJ Apo will keep the celebration lively with a vibrant mix of traditional and modern Armenian songs, along with popular hits from a variety of genres and languages.
The Museum Festival will offer various activities for guests of all ages. Attendees can participate in classic carnival games such as Milk Bottle Knockdown, Wood Ring Toss, and Cornhole, or challenge their friends with larger-than-life versions of Giant Jenga and Giant Connect Four. A selection of crowd-favorite tabletop board and card games will be available including UNO, Codenames, and Candyland, or more advanced games including Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, and more.
The Armenian American Museum Festival’s Kids Zone will also provide face painting courtesy of Marbled Palette and an art station courtesy of Lilit’s Art House.
A curated selection of food trucks and vendors will be on-site, including but not limited to, Shawarma Time, Less Mess Burger, and Dream Donut, offering a delicious variety of savory entrees and sweet treats available for purchase.
Paid public parking will be available at several locations near Glendale Central Library, including the Glendale Marketplace parking structure on S. Maryland Avenue, the Exchange parking structure on N. Maryland Avenue, and the Americana at Brand. Free street parking may also be available in the surrounding neighborhood.

The highly anticipated cultural and educational center is currently under construction in the museum campus at Glendale Central Park. The first phase of construction, featuring the museum parking garage and building foundation, has been completed. The second phase, featuring the two-level museum building superstructure, is currently underway.
The museum’s mission is to promote understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Armenian American experience. The museum will offer a wide range of public programming through the Permanent Exhibition, Temporary Exhibitions, Auditorium, Learning Center, Demonstration Kitchen, Archives Center, and more.
